Could anyone help me out? I just got a 2005 LE CC and i want to get some performance parts for it.
What are the best performing exhausts and intakes for this awesome truck. I also don't want a super loud exhaust because i do alot of highway driving and i think it will make me nutz. Please give suggestions, thanks.
I'm currently thinking about the banks exhaust and volant intake

Hi! I have a 2004 for about 10 months now and have gibsons catback for exhaust and k&n cold air intake. Exhaust is just perfect, no annoying vibrations in the cab. I recommend both. I have a friend that has the banks on his titan and is jealous of mine. Volant intake is also alright but for the price, k&n filter have been around longer with proven history.

I have always used K&N intakes and filters on all my vehicles, however the Volant has the best performance test results but any intake will work and you will have perfomance gains from it. The Banks exhaust has a lot of road drone to it I had it on there for about a week and took it off. I went ahead and ordered a gibsons exhaust and JBA headers, havent recieved them yet though. Also keep in mind that the Volant intake cold air tube can only be used on the XE models, but the airbox will fit all Titans as far as I know. Dont put a throttle body spacer on because there has not been any performance gains from it, at least thats what I have seen from various internet test sites.

i have not yet decided which cat-back system to put on my '04 titan, but there are several good systems. the only thing that i have realized is that not all are true cat-back systems. the banks system replaces from the cats, to include replacing the factory Y-pipe. borla system does away with the Y-pie so you have individual pipes from each cat then come together to one muffler. other systems replace from the factory Y-pipe back. just do some checking and see what you get for your money when looking for a true flow though exhaust system.
good luck.

You can not go wrong with a Volant, and Gibson single swept. Gibson comes out all the way with the Y-pipe and the better thing is that you can install it your self it just take about 1 hour to install it. It is very easy bolt on and you will be a happy dude with the performance you gain and sound it is really awesome, I really recommend.

Blackjack, I should be receiving the Flowmaster exhaust here in a day or two and will post how it goes for me. I read on many forums, listened to sound clips, etc ... for the money, I had to try the flowmaster. I also liked that you can do either side exit or rear with the flow (both options come with the kit). Aesome feature to me. Additionally, waiting for a lazerlite cover and will post how it goes as well.
