Combination of mostly in town and some highway gives me around 15mph. I have 5000 miles on my Titan, so I'd say it's broke in. Also, I ahve to remember, living in the NorthEast, I let it warmup in the morning for about 5 minutes before taking off.......
Hey people, you get what you pay for!!!! I LOVE MY TITAN !!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I agree with buying the Sentra for gas milage thing. Hell, that's why I've opted to keep my old school days clunker, a 92 corolla. My titan only has about a 1000 miles on it and I haven't really caculated what milage I'm getting. Most of the time I can see the dial moving however. But, tonneau is now installed and the K&N is on its way, I'll calculate after that.

Yea it is a big truck with lots of power but it should do better than what it does, the old man has a 2004 Power Stroker that consistenty averages above 20 empty which is bigger and heavier than the Titan, made the mistake of running against him from a dead stop and he literally played with me, roll on at 60 is worse yet, Man them Diesels have power plus mileage, currently have a 2004 LE Crew Cab, averaging 10 to 11 at the best, this is when I baby it, 15 to me shouldn't be out of the question in my book!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does that "tornado" go in before or after the IAC sensor?

hay pied piper,
you have to take off your air filter lid and clamp then the tornado goes in tha end of the flexable intake hose and then you put the air filter lid and clamp back on.hope that helps.

My previous truck was an F-150 and I got around 320 miles a tank out of
it - and ...AND it was a v-6!!!! I get close to the same with my
Titan, minus about 20 miles, so I don't have any super big complaints.

There is a LOT of talk about MPG in this forum. It's been a long time since I had a new truck. I would thought in 20 years they could find some way of improving milage. They have in cars and increased HP too, so it can be done. That aside, the point here is why does Nissan advetize the milage it does on the epa sticker. I would call that false advertizing. Every car I have bought I got better or near the milage on the sticker. My sticker says 14 mpg city and 18 on hiway. I cant even get 14 on pure hiway running at 60 mph. I can see it will be a cold day when I get 18. Someone should be called on the carpet for this travesty.
