Everyday, I'm driving my Titan and it makes me more and more wanted to go off road.  Because to me it's not a regular truck anymore, it's more a fun car for me.  The more I drive it, the more I loved it.   I'm kicking myself everyday now and asking myself why I didn't pay that 2k extra to get the 4x4 package,  Is anyone out there know any economical way to convert the 4x2 to a 4x4? or is it even possible?

Go price a Titan 4x4 front axle assembly, transfer case, and front driveshaft assy.  That should answer your question on economics.  Heck if you're not upside down in the loan (if any) go trade for a 4x4.  Whay deny yourself the pleasure of a 4x4 if that's what you want.  Hell, it's only money.  Dinner can wait!  TITAN TIME!!!!

I took my creeper for a ride under my 2WD and noticed the front hubs are made for 4WD (i'm not a mechanic) Think its possible, but have you considered putting a hitch on the front bumper and get the plate reciever and put a Warn winch on the front of you fun car? Its cheaper on the insurance and maintenance?

Dude,

Enjoy your 2x4. I have the 4x4 and its cool and all but in all reality most of us just dont need it. I didnt say want it, cause i wanted one and haven't used it yet. Its more of a comfort factor knowing you have than a real necesity (sp). Our trucks rock and kick ass no matter if they are 4x2 or 4x4! In fact i bet H2H  yours would kick butt speed wise and has more available power than the 4x4's due to your not having to power another gearbox and front axles.....

I took my Titan to my parents Ranch last weekend, when my front two wheels stay where they were like a boat anchor and my two rear wheels spinning like there was no ground under it, i was kicking myself why I let the sales person talk me into getting that 4x2 instead of the 4x4 I wanted......

A 4x4 will just get you out farther untill they have to tow you back in.
