I picked up my new 2005 SE Crew Cab last night.  When I was driving to work this morning I noticed that the steering wheel was shaking a bit and not as smooth as I would thought it would be.  This does not happen under breaking but just when I am cruising down the road.

I had a loaner 2005 SE King cab for 3 days until my truck was ready that had 700 miles on it and I do not recall the wheel being this shaky.

I will be the first to admit I might just be paranoid since I am driving my truck now but is there a break in period I should expect?  Is it possible the tires are not balanced properly?

I also noticed it pulls to the right all little but from what I understand all cars are suppose to pull a little to the right.  Is that correct?  Allignment problem maybe???

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Eric (Person)

Yeah, I'd have the dealership check everything from tire pressure to wheel balance to alignment. Sounds like one of those problems if it isn't shaking during braking.

You might have a tire out of round.

I have a 2004 Titan LE and had the same problem.  The answer is an alignment issue and possibly a wheel balancing problem.  For what its worth, it resolved it on my truck.  Oh, and by the way, the truck does not pull to the right anymore.  It's not supposed to!!

Good luck.
