how much can be towed on the bumper of a Titan??

I bought a Titan and is seams it's set up with the tow package......but there isn't a hitch on it..   I pick it up today.... Funny that it would have the tow package without the hitch...  I thought they went together...

Take it back! If you paid for the tow pkg and don't have the hitch, you aren't getting everything! Plus, if it is the the tow pkg, you should also have those huge mirrors on the side. But if you didn't pay for the tow pkg, still recomend getting a hitch.

yeah, that's what I was thinking.... I'll check it out when I go down there to pick it up...  It didn't have the huge mirrors on the side, so I'm assuming I'm not paying for the "tow package"..

There still may the possibility that you where charged for it, but not equipped. I have only heard of this happening one time, but hey, stranger stuff can happen.

actually it appears that I did not pay for it... it's not listed as an option on any of my contracts or paperwork. It looks like I have it, minus the extended mirrors and hitch...  it has the little "big tow" button in the console with a manual shifter on the 'tree'....  What should actually happen when I hit the button??

Probably won't be able to notice a big change, I think it just lowers your shift points when pulling a load.

I tested it out today... yup, that's what it does... well, it's not like i'll be towing to much, just a 2300 lb car plus trailer, and tools... all of which I'm sure is under 5000 lbs

Well I'm in North Alabama and we didn't get it too bad. We did get alot of wind out of the cane but not a whole lot of rain. We have a family of evacuees staying at our church until things fall together for them. From listening to them talk, I think that the "Big Easy" will be called the "Big Empty" for awhile. The said that they were not going back along with alot of other families they know. Thanks for your concern and lets not forget all the unfortunate folks down south.
