Just got my Titan lastnight and was so pumped about it.  Got a good deal and they took my Honda Element (the box).  Went to Nissan North in Columbus Ohio.  Well today I went in to get my safari basket and bed extender and the guy in the service department took the drivers side of the bed out while pulling the truck into the service bay.  Rippled the wheel well, scratched the wonderful black paint and made me sick.  Big truck, he should have turned wider.  Well, they gave me a Dodge Ram rental untill they can get the truck fixed.  The service guy was really sorry and he said he make sure I get my next five oil changes free.  They are also making sure that none of this goes on my warrenty.  So 2 more days untill I get my awsome Titan.

Sorry to hear that!

I would almost have to say, ROLL ME ANOTHER ONE IN HERE JUST LIKE MINE, don't want to go home on that one ever again!
Been around a lot of repaint work, and never seen a repaint as tough of a finish as the OEM one.

Woulda been fair for them to take yours over and give you a 'new' replacement. A Dodge rental huh? Let us know how that thing compares to a real truck ok?

That is BS..they prolly just reduced the resale value of your truck by $2000...thats what happened to me when someone ran into my parked Rodeo..I now wish I had sued them. I was upside down in my loan until I traded it for my Titan. I was lucky to get payoff....GL

I think we all agree.  You break it you buy it.  Quite frankly, you paid for a new truck, not a FIXED truck.  I think it's cool that they are at least trying to solve the problem, but again, this is your hard earned money!  I am curious to see what comes out of this.

Have them pull a bed off another truck and bolt it on yours.

Most states require by law that you have up to 6 working days to rescend a contract.

If I were you, I would walk into the finance manager's office, hand him the keys, ask for the sales papers, and tear them up.

Tom
