hello all,
i'm interested in the titan but i have a few q's-
one is real basic and related to child safety seats. does the king cab have the safety tie downs? i know in tacoma extra cab, for instance, it's not considered safe to carry a child with a safety seat in the back, does the same apply for titans?
also, and this one is specifically aimed at previous/current toyota tacoma/tundra owners. how does the titan stack up with the toyotas? i've been a toyota person forever and although i really like the titan package (king cab) i'm afraid of losing out on reliability/ruggedness of the toyotas.
TIA

My 1st Nissan, Hopefully it holds up fine. So far So good!!
As far as Toyota's, I have owned one in my life, a 2000 4Runner. Biggest piece of ''' I have ever owned. Ended up getting rid of it in less than a year.

wow, that's a surprise. what went wrong with the 4runner? was it auto (if i had to guess i'd say tranny problems)?
we've had a couple of nissans before, sentras actually. good cars, reliable enough but really pitiful resale value and somewhat sketchy interior quality. of course, those are cheap cars period.

All Titans have the L A T C H system ...does that answer your question? Ive heard of it before and I know it has something to do with child safety seats, but I have zero kids, I never have read up on it.....keep on truckin.

I believe that is the only legal place to put child seats, so I would assume so, however I would suggest makin a quick call to your Nissan dealer. I'm sure they can answer that question...GL

There are L A T C H points in the front passangers seat and hooks for all three seats in the rear. the plus you have when putting the carseat in the rear (only works with outboard seats) is that you have a hook behind the backrest to hook the top tether of the carseat.
