OK.....So I towed a Mazda Tribute SUV on a Uhaul car carrier from California to Maine. I traveled an average speed of 68 mph and totaled out at 3,100 miles. The trip went well and the Titan still runs like a champ. I saw the temp guage rise up quickly when crossing the Sierras but remained centered for the remainder of the trip. The route taken was 80 and so we had our fill of every grade you can imagine. The Titan did an excellent job of getting us here.

Glad to hear back from you! You were in our thoughts. Very happy that things went wel for you. What kind of gas milage did you get with your other SUV in tow. I guess your rear is sore now.

Hey Sonny,

Thanks for the kind words. My mileage was very bad, somewhere around 9 miles per gallon or less. I did a little better on gas speeding through the flat lands like Nebraska and Iowa. Those mountains were killer on the wallet (filling up every 200 miles). This was the first time I have ever pulled a trailer so I got a crash course without crashing.  This Titan is amazing and I am glad to be an owner of a machine with this much power.

Regards,

Geno

My drive-train temp guage peaked at the top line but quickly came back down and stayed centered as soon as we leveled off. I was watching it closely and my wife had the manual open assuring me that it said that it was OK. I was so happy to get that trailer off my Titan after more than 3,000 miles.

Regards,

Geno
