Hey all. Just joined here and looking to get into a Titan
soon. Flip-flopping between a titan and silverado right now (been
buying GM since first car). Just a couple questions for the
masses. Any help with this would be much appreciated. I did
all I really could with basic internet investigation.
Anyone here use their truck with a child seat and do the '04/'05 king
cabs have the latch system? Safety is the main driving force
behind buying a Titan ... plus its the best looking truck out right now
IMHO.
How willing is Nissan usually for certifying an extended warranty on
used Titans? I can only find one in my area that is certified
used and its 4x2 ... not useful in this part of the country.
Anything besides brake shudder, rear differential fluid/cover, and A/C
condensor tube problems that I should have the dealer look at if I go
with a '04 model? Low mileage used '04 and some new '05 titans
are approximately the same price right now in this area.

The Titan has the child seat latches.

I dont know about the certified used thing but I bought an extended warranty through my dealer. 75,000 miles bumper to bumper.

Thanks for the info shiftyb. I will be using that for sure. Good to know the latches are there.
