Hey there, I have removed the badging off my truck except for the nissan badging. However I want to remove the door trim moldings, what I was wondering, is the moldings held on by two sided tape like the badging on the door and tailgate, or are they held on with plastic studs and two sided tape. Thanks.

The front door molding is held on with 2 sided tape and 2 plastic studs.

most liekly. most the time(if nto all) when shaving off the moulding you will need to fill the holes and repaint everything. but the outcome will be hella nice

I wanted to do the same thing when we first got the truck and was told of the holes. Sorry, I should have posted it here so you would have known.

i can understand de-badging, but taking off the factory door molding? they provide protection and they look great. go look at the base model...it is not nearly as nice looking. i am interested in de-badging my 05. how do i do it? i am guessing a heat the letter with a hair drier and gently pull. then just clean up the adhesive. is it this easy?

There are many posts in the TITAN MODIFICATIONS about debadging. Fishing line, a ice scraper, gently pulling the moldings off are all ways in which people have tried. It's basically any of those that you can do easiest and with the least about of scuffing the paint. Warmer weather will help though.

You can also use dental floss unstead of fishing line.
