I've noticed that with the fog light accessory that you can buy if you don't already have them; that the new blinker and light control switch has the "auto" head-light option.  Does that actually work?  Or do you also need to buy a light sensor in addition to take advantage of the auto lights?

no the auto setting wont work, and as far as I know you can't buy the sensor for it to work. There has been no writeup on that topic, so until there is, we are stuck without it for now!

Engineer is correct as far as I know. You have the auto switch, you would need the sensor which is part of the defroster vent and ....???  Assuming the wiring harness had a companion connector in your truck.. you still have to go through the Body Control Module (BCM) and if it's not programmed to accept the signal - nothing happens-or maybe something bad.

It's almost the same issue with daytime running lights - Canadian Titans have it - US Titans don't. No one knows if you can program the BCM to get DTR or if there are Canada & US version BCM's

Another mystery of life
