Just had A.R.E. installed.  Fits great, made it thru first heavy rain OK  Mileage improvement after one tank 1/2 mile gallon, i.e. low 13's  Biggest issue is decrease in visibility.  Will post pix once truck is back from Nissan for trans cooler leak

can I ask about how much the ARE cost? can't wait to see the pictures.

I had an ARE  on my last truck. I have to tell you it was the nicest cap that I have ever owned.

thanks

If anyone wants to see a A.R.E. "Z" series on a King Cab Titan, I just posted pictures on the new photo site in this forum.   Cost was around $1600 with tilt down front window. Kept 2 dogs and stuff dry and warm on a trip from Western Washington to Southern Cal. and return.  Weighs 200 + LBS.  No real difference noticed in gas milage. Takes a while to get used to using just the side mirrors again as the visibility is decreased with 3 titnted windows between you and the rear of the truck.  I think the truck handles a bit better with a littlle weight in the back.

Not trying to steal anyone elses thunder here. Someone asked about showing pictures of the cap about six weeks ago but  the new photo site sure made it easier to post!  Thanks for adding that feature to this forum. I know it will be well utilized.

Pretty cap! Did  the Utili-track channels interfere in any way with installation? Where did you find an ARE cap for $895.00??? I was quoted 1750.00

Best news.  After two 100 mile or so road trips mileage on the road is now over 17.5, a pickup of almost 4 miles per gallon.  I am sold!!!
