Well, I'm not suprised it happend. I wish I had seen it comming tho. An 80+ year old little lady gunned her big buick out of a grocery parking lot right into 4 lanes of traffic. Hit me on the right rear wheel. spun me out until I was facing oncomming traffic. She continued accroos the road and sideswiped a new chevy pickup that was parked on the shoulder and kept on going. No one got plates or anything. The cops found her because when she hit me, she lost het front plate. I put the spare on and headed home 2 hours later after talking to the cops. Here something squeaking and I hope the axle isn't bent.

I hope so. I am waiting for the police report, 3-5 days. Since she left the scene, I wasn't able to get her insurance. The report will have it, if she has any. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Jeez! They didn't total it? Wow! I don't think mine is too bad now. I am hoping it will only be in the shop a month and no longer. How did you get yours on its side? Too sharp a corner?

Just be glad that it's not the front end.  But any damage to your baby really sucks.

I feel your pain.  I got rearended 3 weeks after picking up my truck and it was a hit and run.  I was pinned in traffic and the guy bailed.  I had about $1900 in damages that the insurance covered.  I hope the police find info for you.

The Lady had state farm ins. My truck should be ready for me the 1st week of may. So it isn't too bad, 3 weeks maybe. The hardest thing to get was the panel for the bed. Had to be ordered from CA. Damage came out to a little above $3100.
