I was parking my Truck In a public Garage yesterday and found that my SE Titan with the 18" wheels fit in the Garage that was marked 6'8" max Height... Phew... had to have my wife stand outside and make sure i was going to fit. Afterwards I was like that was stupid what if I had not fit and got stuck....

It could have been one of those priceless momments.

What has been everyone elses experience... How low did you go?

We have covered parking in the building where I work.  It is labeled 6'4".  Since I couldn't tell the exact height of my truck, nor did I believe the label for the clearance, I walked out to the parking garage with a tape measure.

I found the entrance is 6'4", but the exit is barley 6'2"!  I crept my truck in the entrance, stopping every so often and getting out to make sure there were no more inaccuracies in the garage.

Needless to say, I barley clear going in and parking.  I cannot use the exit to get out, so I have to go out the entrance.  There is no gate, luckily, but I do occassionaly run into someone trying to enter, even at the end of the day.  They usually backup when they see me puling through.

Glad I thought ahead enough to measure before going out.  I would have scrapped/gotten stuck for sure.

We are moving to a new building this fall.  Its clearance is 6'6", so I'll have no probs there.

Just for the record, my Nissan Titan will *not* fit in the Sheraton garage parking at the Bradley International Airport hotel. It will go into the general airport parking garage at Bradley, however.

Mind giving us the Mx Height Limit if you remember...

My Titan fit in the Baltimore Washington International Airport Garage, they were smart enough to build part of the garage with an  8ft max clearance.
