Has anyone had the radio replaced for the service bulletin, and if so does it appear to have the same amplifier power? My radios reception is fixed, however the volume has to be turned up higher to get the same sound as my old radio.

Please let me know if/when you FINALLY get this fixed. Have replaced my radio 3 times. The dealer finally admitted they were having broad based problems (04 Titan). Had I known, should have kept the first radio as it was the best.

--Currently live in Atlanta, powerful local AM stations whose broadcast range goes WELL beyond Tennessee....with any cheap radio...yet I can't pick them up 15 minutes outside the city.

--CD started eating disks

-- The volume attenuator (sp?) would go crazy when I came to a stop...nearly blast me out of the truck

-- the "digital" lock in on some FM stations is "ok", but if not digital, the treble falls out like you are getting real far out of broadcast range (even though you are still local)

Love the truck...HATE the f'n radio

I have had the radio replaced and it works perfectly-the same it did when new. Thats is before it started going mono and then stereo and back again.

Had my trruck in for a tranny cooler leaking and had the dealer listen to my radio they replaced. they agreed the new radio panasonic was not as powerful as my original. They are ordering a new radio to replace it with. We  will try again. Dealer has a new service manager and seems helpfull.
