Anyone in the Souteaster Va area know of any areas that I can go 4-wheeling?  I'm looking for moderate/easy courses, just a little fun.

I usually go to the mountains around Roanoke or down to Hatteras and run the beach.  Don't know anywhere in the Tidewater Area

Yeah I've done the beach thing around Hatteras, although I find the Carova beach  (past Corolla light-house and bordering the Virginia border) less crowded and it's kind of fun to see the wild horses and we've seen very small deer back there as well.  I like to putter around back where the houses are.  It's pretty amazing the size of the houses they've built in the area that is only accessible via a 4WD. The people who live/vacation there can see the wild horses feeding right off the porch.

The roads are sand (soft, deeep sand) and tend to get easily flooded so although you can't drive fast it can be some interesting driving especially if you go back to where usually only the ATV tours go.  The only thing I would warn about going back in the ATV paths is that you might get some scratches from the bushes.

How are the Roanake trails? Are there any that someone with a stock 4x4 with off road package Titan could tackle or ?

I heard or read somewhere (not sure which or where ) that there is somewhere in Pungo that the Hall Hummer dealership has either access to or owns that you can take your newly bought Hummer and test it out.  Has anyone else heard of this?  If so is exclusively for Hummers or can others access it? I'd love to get more information about this if anyone knows anything.  I'll probably ask my dealer the next time I take the Titan in (my dealer was also Hall).

As far as mods to my Titan, other than a few minor touches such as a bug-deflector, brake light cover and such I haven't made any mods.  I'm defintely not a serious off-road enthusiast, it's just every once in a while I like to put it in 4WD drive and poke around.
