I tow with mine daily about 4000lbs and its great! The brake are a little slow but I have been tweaking my electric brake controller and have got it about right.

I will be towing about 9k's on tuesday and I will let you know how it works.

OK It was only 8200 but the Titan pulls as good as my 2002 F-250. You could tell there was some weight back there but it shifted pretty low in RPM and only downshifted a couple of times on the highway. The brake on the trailer was a inertia system and reacted OK but not like my electric brake trailer.

I recently pulled my 30ft camper around 50 miles with a 4X2 SE Big Tow Titan. I pulled much better than my old truck (Chevy Z71). I could hardly tell that the truck even noticed it behind it. As a matter of fact, I could have created a commercial on the way home. I passed a car running about 45 in a 55 zone. I only passed because about 10 cars were waiting behind me thinking it was me that was holding traffic up. The Titan passed the car with ease and accelerated quickly around the slow car. The camper weighs about 8000lbs, so it was a good test for the truck.

I haven't towed anything yet, but got the runaround when asking about towing in 5th gear with my Titan trailering package.  I'll be towing a 21' bay fishing boat mostly, not very heavy, over flat Texas highways, but at 70 mph.  I used to do it with my old notoriously fragile chevy transmission in overdrive, with no problems, and this has to be a better transmission than that.  

Any help from anyone with experience with these transmissions would be appreciated.  I ain't worried about the power:  Based on my other trucks, I'll forget that I am trailering anything, power-wise with this Titan.

Hay MadSS (or Nissan folks that are lurking on this site):  Can you drag 4,000 lbs down the freeway in 5th gear, or do you need to use 4th at 2500 rpm because the transmission cannot handle o/d at 2000rpm?  Thats all I wanna know.  I only do it once a month or so, but it is for a long 400 to 800 miles at a time, round trip on a flat highway going 70.
