Is anyone familiar with the Extang Tuff Taonneau cover? Looks tuff, says it does no damage, no drilling, no tools. Strongest ever. :)  Plus they go for $120 less than the nissan one.

Any other recommendations welcome.

I would not waste money on soft covers. first of all they will stretch and flop in the wind, there is no security. once you have dealt with its flaws for a while, you are ready for for the real deal(hardcover) my advice would to save those loose dollars.

I disagree with the negative response on the soft covers. I use my truck fairly often and I could not use the bed with a hard shell over the bed that raises at the back of the cab. The only hard cover that I can consider is the roll up unit. I agree that there is no security, but for a truck user it is nice to be able to remove the cover on location.

I just looked into the extang tuff tonnoIII. They are still testing the unit and should be availible in a few weeks. The tough tonneau is in my price range and it is important for me to be able to remove the cover with little effort.

I'll let you know how it works out.

Thanks :)

They need to make a tonneau that works with the Utili-Track bed system.

That would be sweet!
