Wanted to see if anyone here would happen to have access to the service book with the instructions on installing the Nissan tow hitch and wiring harness.  I think the dealer might give it to me but in the case they won't......  Thanks.

I bought/installed the tow hitch a couple of weeks ago. It had to be the smoothest install I've ever done to a vehicle. The hitch comes with four screws which require 101 lb/ft of torque. The wiring harness is actually already on your truck. It's mounted up inside the bumber with a plastic tab. Took me about 15 minutes. Probably would have been faster if I had someone to hold the hitch while I started screwing in the bolts.

Where did you guys get your OE hitch and how much did it cost? My titan didn't have the big tow package but now i want the hitch that comes with it. What would be the max towing if I installed it myself? Thanks

Bought mine new on ebay for $200 for the hitch &  harness.  The dealers charge $230 for the hitch & $125 for the harness.

I bought mine for $199 at the dealership and didn't have to buy a harness.

I would imagine that you would still only be able to tow 7500 lbs. because you don't have the BT gears.

Installed it yesterday.  Was straightforward and took all of fifteen minutes.
