If you follow the link to the auction, you can input your zip code and the shipping calculator will figure the shipping to your city.

Must be made out of lead. Projected cost was $138. Doesn't seem right? I bought a set of pull off's & shipping was around $100.00.

I sell alot on eBay... that calculator is kinda hosed.. it also varys how the seller enters his information..

but the toolbox is an oversize item.. and heavy.... so it's gonna cost to ship it.

usually on those items if im buying it ... i try to do a road trip and pick up the item.. but he's 831 miles one way  from me .. so... vrs gas and time .. $140.00 to ship isnt that bad... (if i needed a toolbox that is.)

The problem with shipping is that UPS considers the box dimensons of an item if it is over sized. They say if the combined length and girth are over 130 inches (and this box just is L=62 W=20 H=18 and combined all four sides with the length you get 138 inches) makes it Oversized OS - 3 which in its self adds $40.00 to the price right off the bat. Then take in consideration when it is oversized they use Dimensonal Weight rather than the 58lbs it actually weighs boxed up. The dimensional weight, for who doesn't know, is the length X width X height divided by 194 that determines dimensional weight that is used to figure what the shipping cost will be bar any additional charges for residential, and OS-3 charges. Sorry for the long drawn out description of what goes into shipping something of this magnitude, but if your not directly involved with shipping UPS or other carriers, you may not get the realization of actual cost, and construe different opions that may not be factual, which would have others believe you are not being truthful with your shipping charges or descriptions.   I don't make the rules, just play by them!

shipping isnt free... and those of us that ship regularly dont make EXTRA on shipping..

ive went in the "hole" on shipping because of that stupid UPS calculator on eBay

Thanks Vector6.

I have eaten my fair share of shipping, although not from Ebay, and that's a large pill that's hard to swallow!

I saw that this auction has ended, but did it actually sell.

I am interested if you still have it,

Thanks,

Ron
