I'm thinking of putting a dual exhaust system on my KC SE, don't know alot about them, just like the looks and sound.  Anyone have a recommendation, something even a novice can understand.

I'm thinkin about this too...although I really dont want it to be much louder than stock..maybe a little would be ok.

From what I have pieced together by reading many posts:

Flowmaster's new dual-rear cat-back is likely what you are looking for.

Magnaflow seems robust, is known to be a quality system, but the dual-rear is loud: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?id=184 (2 sound clips)

I would find a reputable shop and purchase some Banks coated headers, add some Spintech mufflers with either no cats or high-flow cats.  Have the shop fabricate it to where I want it to come out and have them put some nice tips on it.  You will probably spend less than an entire kit and will probably get as good, if not better, performance and sound.

It depends on how the computer handles them. On my vette I got worse gas mileage until tuned, because it was running so rich.

Nissan has done apretty good job with the stock manifolds and the ECUs tend to retard timing until it sees the range its programmed to see. The VQs suffer from the greatly but we will see if the Vks have the exact same issue. Some members of TitanTalk have headers and are getting modest gains.
