I HAVE AN INTERESTING PROBLEM I HOPE SOMEONE OUT THERE CAN HELP ME WITH. I JUST HAD MY WINDSHIELD REPLACED DUE TO ITS ATTRACTION OF BIG ROCKS. THE COMPANY THAT REPLACED MY WINDSHIELD HAD BROKEN A CLIP ON THE COWL THAT ATTACHES TO THE GROMMET ON THE TRUCK RIGHT UNDER THE WINDSHIELD. I THOUGHT I WOULD JUST REPLACE THIS CLIP WHICH COULD NOT COST MORE THAN A $1.00, BUT THE DEALERSHIP SAYS YOU HAVE TO BUY THE ENTIRE COWL WHICH COST ABOUT $80.00. I THINK THAT'S CRAZY. DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW WHERE I CAN JUST GET THE CLIP? PAYING $80.00 VERSUS $1.00 DOLLAR IS KIND OF A STRETCH FOR A LITTLE CLIP.

Logically, it would seem that the company that replaced the windshield should be on the hook to fix that which they broke.  No?  Have you spoken to them about this?

Tom

ps: You can turn off the ALL CAPS if you want.  Many of us here have good hearing so there is NO NEED TO SHOUT.  Unless we're running with OPEN HEADERS.
